The True Lectures

Inaugurated in September, 2024, the True Lectures are made possible by the generous support of Tad and Jennifer True. This endowed series fosters the development of scholarly manuscripts on the principles and practices of American Constitutionalism.

The inaugural True Lectures were delivered by John Witte, Jr., the Woodruff University Professor, the McDonald Distinguished Professor, and the Director of the Law and Religion Center at Emory University. Professor Witte’s True Lectures were titled “The Great Awakenings of American Religious Freedom.”
