Merlot Fogarty is a senior studying theology, political science, and constitutional studies. On campus, Merlot served as president of Notre Dame Right to Life, communications director for both the Network of Enlightened Women and the Irish Rover, and as a group leader for the Student Policy Network's research project with the Charlotte Lozier Institute. This year, she is participating in the Röpke-Wojtyła Fellowship in the Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America and the Center for Religion, Culture, & Democracy D.C. Fellowship. She previously interned at the Women's Care Center and is a graduate of the Heritage Foundation Academy. She remains involved with family policy and the pro-life movement and hopes to continue working to fight for the right to life after graduation.
