The Menard Family Tocqueville Fellowship Program was designed for Notre Dame undergraduates interested in discussing fundamental questions about politics, culture, business, markets, philosophy, and religion.

Menard Family Tocqueville Fellows receive special invitations to meet, network, and dine with guests and scholars visiting Notre Dame. They also engage in a close-knit intellectual community, participating in weekend discussion colloquia and social events with other students and faculty.

Additionally, fellows also work closely with the Program’s professors and staff to design and implement the Program’s events, including the speaker series. Notre Dame undergraduate students from Mendoza College of Business, the College Arts & Letters, the Architecture School, and the College of Engineering are especially encouraged to apply as well as Holy Cross College and Saint Mary's College.

Applications are now open for the Spring 2024 semester, and will close on December 22.
