Joy Agwu, a member of the class of 2024, is majoring in Philosophy with a minor in Constitutional Studies. She is deeply passionate about matters of law and education policy, and last summer, she had the privilege of interning with the Maryland Office of Public Defenders. On campus, Joy is a Hesburgh Democracy Fellow and Sorin Scholar. She is also actively involved in Student Government and serves on both the National Affairs and Political Engagement committee and the Diversity and Inclusion: Race and Ethnicity committee. Post-graduation, Joy plans on working as a teacher for a few years before advancing to law school.
