Marta Bystrowska

Biography

Marta Bystrowska is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Anthropology, graduating summa cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Her academic work centers on anti-totalitarian political thought and human dignity, including a senior thesis examining the political thought of Frederick Douglass and Czesław Miłosz. She is an alumna of the Hertog Foundation's Political Studies Program and a founding member of the Carroll Forum at CUA.

She currently serves as Programming and Operations Specialist at the Center for Citizenship and Constitutional Government at the University of Notre Dame, supporting the center's work on American constitutionalism and civic education. In her role, Marta's responsibilities include event planning and execution, student engagement initiatives, and data/systems coordination to support the center's academic and public programming.
