Amul Roger Thapar is an attorney and jurist serving as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a former United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky. In the Fall 2023 semester, he will co-teach "Race and American Constitutionalism" with Prof. Phillip Muñoz (CNST 33102).
