Undergraduate Education
Through a variety of academic and extracurricular programs, we teach undergraduates the principles of constitutional government and the ideas and institutions of a free society, promote civil discourse on pressing topics of public affairs, and equip students to be thoughtful citizens and leaders who contribute to the common good.
-

Potenziani Minor in Constitutional Studies
Building on courses across the College of Arts & Letters, the Potenziani Minor in Constitutional Studies is designed to encourage students to confront fundamental questions concerning justice, the rule of law, and human flourishing.
-

Tocqueville Fellowship
The Tocqueville Fellowship Program is geared toward intellectually curious undergraduates at Notre Dame interested in discussing fundamental questions related to politics, law, culture, economics, philosophy, and religion.
-

Publius Prize
Each year, we award two $250 prizes for undergraduate writing–published in campus or national outlets–that refines and enlarges the public’s views on a relevant topic.
