Jordyn Small, from Ocean Gate, New Jersey, is a sophomore in the Mendoza College of Business Honors Program where she is majoring in Business Analytics, with minors in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Constitutional Studies, and Computing & Digital Technologies. After enduring treatment for an inoperable brain tumor, Jordyn founded Small Miracles, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to positively enhancing the lives of pediatric oncology patients through gift programs and special experiences. On campus, Jordyn is involved with Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (SCNO), Student International Business Council (SIBC), Undergraduate Women in Business (UWIB), and serves as a Student Engagement Coordinator/Mentor for the Accessibility Leadership Fellows Program. Jordyn is also a proud recipient of the Coca-Cola and Stamps Scholarships and is honored to represent the Notre Dame family in a class of such incredible students. Last summer, Jordyn studied abroad in Milan and Florence and completed a Financial Advisory internship. Jordyn hopes to use her experiences with the Tocqueville Fellowship to learn about the intersection between business and political philosophy so that she can expand her thinking and become a better leader.
