
Philip K. Howard is a lawyer, civic leader and best-selling author of The Death of Common Sense and, recently, Saving Can-Do: How to Revive the Spirit of America. He is chair of Common Good, which advocates for simpler governing frameworks activated by human responsibility. He has worked with leaders of both parties on reforms in a wide range of issues, including healthcare, infrastructure, environmental regulation, and civil service. He is helping organize a new "Green Light" operating vision for American government.
