Now accepting applications for the Fall 2021 semester. Deadline: May 28.

To apply, students may use this form to submit a personal statement and resumé/CV to Center director Prof. Vincent Phillip Muñoz.

The application for the Fall 2021 semester will open on April 30 and close on May 28. Finalists will be selected and notified via email about two weeks after the deadline.

To apply students will need to fill out basic contact information and provide the following materials:

  • Resume/CV (one page maxiumum)
  • Personal Statement in answer to the following question (1,000 words or fewer). What do you hope to gain from the serious study of politics, religion, and public life in the Menard Tocqueville Fellowship?

Students from Notre Dame, St. Mary’s College, and Holy Cross Community College are encouraged to apply. Students can be part of any college or major, and we welcome students who are not regularly involved in political activities on campus.

Because we are only able to accept a limited number of fellows each semester, we ask and expect applicants to be able to participate in programming and events. Current fellows are asked to reapply each semester to continue with the fellowship.
