The Center for Citizenship & Constitutional Government is pleased to announce the call for applications for the Fall 2022 Menard Family Tocqueville Fellowship. The application will be live from April 8 through May 13.

To apply, undergraduate students may use this form to submit a personal statement and resumé/CV to Center director Prof. Vincent Phillip Muñoz. Finalists will be selected and notified via email about three weeks after the deadline.

To apply, students shall fill out basic contact information and provide the following materials:

  • Resume/CV (one page maximum)
  • Personal Statement in answer to the following question (1,000 words or fewer). What do you hope to gain from the serious study of politics, religion, and public life in the Menard Tocqueville Fellowship?

Students from Notre Dame, St. Mary’s College, and Holy Cross Community College are encouraged to apply. Students can be part of any college or major, and we welcome students who are not regularly involved in political activities on campus.

Because we are only able to accept a limited number of fellows each semester, we ask and expect applicants to be able to participate in programming and events. Current fellows are asked to reapply each semester to continue with the fellowship.
