Michael Scaperlanda is currently the Chancellor for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. 

After graduating from the University of Texas School of Law in 1984, Scaperlanda clerked for the Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court and practiced law for four years in Washington, D.C. and Austin, Texas. Since joining the University of Oklahoma College of Law faculty in 1989, he has served as Special Assistant to the University President, Faculty Fellow in the Norman Campus Provost's office, Associate Dean for Academics, Associate Director of the Law Center, Director of Legal Assistant Education, and as Associate Dean for Research.
