Lecture by Forrest Nabors: "Reconstructing America: Republicanism, Oligarchy, and the American Constitutional Order"

Forrest Nabors (University of Alaska) lectured in Prof. Munoz's course, "Constitutionalism, Law & Politics II: American Constitutionalism," on the American republic and its constitution. Event was presented by the Potenziani Program in Constitutional Studies and the Tocqueville Program at the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Forrest Nabors ia an associate professor and chair of the department of political science at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. He has taught American government and political philosophy at Oregon State University and the University of Oregon. His current scholarly research is focused on the changing character of American government leading up to the Civil War and Reconstruction. Dr. Nabors is the author of From Oligarchy to Republicanism: The Great Task of Reconstruction.
