About Judge Brett Kavanaugh:
After graduating from Yale Law School, Judge Kavanaugh clerked for Judge Stapleton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit,
and Judge Alex Kozinski of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit before clerking for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.
Judge Kavanaugh served in the White House for more than five years, first as Assistant to the President and Staff Secretary to President George W. Bush, and then as Associate Counsel and Senior Associate Counsel to the President.
He has taught courses at Harvard, Yale, and Georgetown Law Schools on Separation of Powers, the Supreme Court, and National Security and Foreign Relations Law, and has been published in numerous publications, including the Notre Dame Law Review. Judge Kavanaugh was nominated to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit by President George W. Bush, and confirmed by the Senate in 2006.
