Please join us as we, along with the entire University of Notre Dame, commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Fr. Dominic Legge, Professor of Systematic Theology at the Dominican House of Studies, will present "Martin Luther King, Jr.,
and the Question of ‘Illegal Laws’: Civil Law, Justice, and Morality" over lunch on Monday, January 18, 2016.

Lunch is provided, and will take place at noon in the Oak Room at South Dining Hall (2nd Floor). OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Fr. Legge holds a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the University of Fribourg (with a dissertation on the Trinitarian Christology of St. Thomas Aquinas) and a J.D. from Yale Law School. Before becoming a Dominican priest, he practiced law for several years as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice.
