Jack has taken seminars with both former University Presidents, designed murals with campus custodial staff, and studied in a variety of electives from “Ink Wells to AI” and “LifeDesign” to “Literature of the Holocaust.” In the summer of 2026, Jack worked as an archaeologist at the Temple of Poseidon in Isthmia, Greece under the supervision of Architecture Professor Alessandro Pierattini and conducted research for his senior thesis on the emperor Hadrian with the Franco Family Institute in Seville, Spain and Rome, Italy. He also performed with the Notre Dame Folk Choir on their tour to Southeast Asia. When he’s not grilling steak sandwiches with the Knights of Columbus, Jack enjoys playing guitar, biking, writing hymns, and oil painting. He is interested in economic policy, venture capital, academia, and law. As a Tocqueville Fellow, Jack is excited to explore the impact of diminished attention spans, education, and religious attendance on the political engagement of the average voter.
